Job summary

Nexulyze Ltd is seeking a Backend Engineer to design and build robust, scalable server-side systems. You will own API development, database design, and ensure high availability of services for customers.

This role requires experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and modern backend frameworks. You will collaborate with frontend teams to define API contracts and data models, while upholding security and testing standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js (Express/Fastify) or Python (Django/FastAPI).
• Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for web and mobile apps.
• Build and maintain microservices architecture using Node.js and Python.
• Design and optimize database schemas for PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for production services.
• Write unit and integration tests for backend services.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to define API contracts and data models.
