Qualifications

This role demands strong problem-solving skills and experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and modern backend frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Build and maintain microservices architecture using Node.js and Python.
• Design and optimize database schemas for PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for production services.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests for all backend services.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to define API contracts and data models.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js (Express/Fastify) or Python (Django/FastAPI).
• Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.

Additional Skills

• Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or SQS).
• Knowledge of serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Cloud Functions).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Understanding of event-driven architecture patterns.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Rust or Go for high-performance services.
• Knowledge of machine learning model deployment and serving.
