Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking software engineers to advance AI development from home. You’ll join a large community of developers working on AI-friendly code, debugging, and data-driven insights to refine intelligent systems.

Contract-oriented work lets you select projects and schedules, with hourly pay starting at $50–$100+. Begin by creating an account and completing a short assessment, then access paid projects if you pass.

Qualifications

• Fluent English in written and spoken form.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C/C++, Go or Swift.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including problem-solving, debugging and code review.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree either completed or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Create and work with coding environments, unit tests and verifiers.
• Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems.
• Write clear, high-quality code and provide technical explanations.
• Evaluate model trajectories for accuracy, performance and readability.
• Identify bugs and edge cases in AI-generated solutions.
• Provide structured feedback to improve next-gen AI models.
