Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Backend AI Software Engineer to design and build scalable backend systems for digital health products. You will work primarily with TypeScript and Node.js to develop APIs, data pipelines, and distributed services, with a focus on cloud deployments (AWS/GCP) and AI-assisted development.

You will collaborate across frontend teams, product, design, and other engineers, contributing to architecture, testing, and reliable deployment in a fast-moving, international environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on with TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend apps with TS/JS/Node.js.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate external services.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization (JWT/OAuth).
• Develop data pipelines and background jobs for product functionality.
• Design MongoDB/Redis schemas, queries, and migrations; optimize performance.
• Deploy and manage services across AWS/GCP; implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, design, and other teams.
