Job summary

Account Control Technology in Lake Forest, IL is seeking a Back Office Supervisor to lead day-to-day processing for loan servicing. The role coordinates team capacity, manages work queues, and reinforces standard procedures across account maintenance and borrower servicing requests.

You will develop team capability, protect borrower information, and ensure compliance with quality and service standards while driving efficiency and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in loan servicing, financial operations, banking, or related administrative processing.
• At least one year of experience leading or coordinating the work of others.
• Working knowledge of transaction or document processing workflows.
• Clear written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail when handling confidential information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for basic tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, assign and prioritize work, monitor queue volumes and aging, and adjust staffing to meet service levels.
• Supervise staff, provide coaching, conduct evaluations, support onboarding, and identify training opportunities.
• Monitor productivity, accuracy, turnaround times, backlog, and service-level performance; implement improvements.
• Oversee processing quality and accuracy across account updates, payments, and loan servicing requests.
• Handle escalations and processing exceptions; ensure timely resolution and documentation.
• Monitor operational reporting and trends; communicate results and risks to leadership.
• Maintain procedures and operational consistency; update workflows and staff on changes.
• Drive continuous process improvement and collaborate with partners on sustainable solutions.
• Support compliance, internal controls, audits, and remediation actions.
