This remote, all-states role focuses on TaxAct Professional and Online/Business product lines, with cross-training to support multiple queues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or computer-related field or equivalent education/training/experience.
• 2+ years of tax preparation experience or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with Internet browsers & Windows operating systems.
• B2B experience a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Typing 25+ WPM.
• Willingness to use a private, dedicated hardwired internet connection.

Responsibilities

• Support operations for TaxAct Professional product lines via phone and email; cover connectivity, compatibility, navigation, usability, installation, and product knowledge.
• Support TaxAct Online and Download Business products with the same scope.
• Provide backup support for Professional Sales as needed.
• Deliver professional, friendly support to external and internal customers.
• Troubleshoot and research issues; communicate findings to supervisor for resolution.
• Provide timely phone and email responses to customers.
• Raise trending issues to management and contribute to knowledge base.
