ARS-Rescue Rooter is seeking an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, migrate, and operate production Azure infrastructure, extending our VMware and Windows datacenter.

This hands-on role focuses on networking, hybrid connectivity, VMs, DR, and IaC with Terraform, Git, and pipelines. You will partner with security, app teams, and external consultants to deliver reliable, auditable cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/CS/Engineering.
• 5+ years of enterprise infra engineering with hands-on Azure.
• Hybrid networking: VNets, DNS, ExpressRoute or VPN; explain tradeoffs.
• On-prem to Azure migrations: cutover planning and post-migration support.
• VMware vSphere, Windows Server, AD, DNS, GP knowledge.
• DR design with Azure Backup/Site Recovery and RTO/RPO targets.
• Experience with PCI DSS, NIST, CIS controls.

Responsabilités

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infra including landing zones and VMs.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, DNS, and security across Azure and on‑prem.
• Develop runbooks; participate in incident response and change management.
• Design hybrid networking with VNets, ExpressRoute, and private endpoints.
• Plan VMware/Windows migrations to Azure with Azure Migrate and cutover plans.
• Plan and test DR using Site Recovery and geo‑redundant storage.
• Provide platform services for App Service, Functions, Logic Apps, AKS.
• Automate with Terraform, PowerShell, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Enforce least privilege with Entra ID, RBAC, and Azure Policy.
