Evolvesquads inc. seeks an Azure Infrastructure Engineer for a remote, 3‑month contract to work with our multi‑discipline team. You will manage Azure resources, design hub‑and‑spoke networking, and implement IaC with Terraform and GitHub Actions.

You’ll also enhance security, DR, monitoring, and cost controls across subscriptions. Collaborate with engineers to migrate files, manage Key Vault and Private Endpoints, and extend Site Recovery while ensuring SOC 2 and Defender for Cloud compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience designing, building and supporting Azure infrastructure.
• Proficient with IaC using Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with RBAC, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud.
• Experience in DR and failover testing.

Aufgaben

• Migrate file shares to Azure Files with permissions and identity access.
• Implement and tune Web Application Firewall solutions using Application Gateway and Front Door.
• Automate operational processes with Azure Automation, Logic Apps, Functions, and scheduled pipelines.
• Migrate Key Vaults to RBAC and extend Private Endpoints usage.
• Expand Azure Site Recovery coverage and run DR test failovers.
• Bring legacy resources under Terraform management and improve pipeline security.
• Review and tighten network security rules and firewall configurations.
• Close SOC 2 and Defender for Cloud findings.
