Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking an Azure IAM Engineer for a remote contract role with EST hours, located in the United States. The engineer will design, implement, and manage Azure Entra ID solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.

Ideal candidates have deep IAM expertise, strong Azure knowledge, and experience with identity governance tools such as Okta and SailPoint. You will collaborate with security and DevOps teams, implement SSO/MFA, RBAC/ABAC, and develop IaC automation, with potential

Qualifications

Experience with Azure Entra ID (Azure AD) in senior IAM/security roles.
Experience in regulated environments; IL5 experience preferred.
Familiarity with Okta and SailPoint for identity governance.
Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with automation and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support Azure Entra ID solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
Manage identity federation, SSO, MFA, conditional access, and RBAC/ABAC controls.
Integrate Azure Entra ID with Okta and SailPoint and other IAM technologies.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure identity services and compliance.
Develop architecture documentation and IaC/automation workflows.
