Job summary

Corevia Staffing seeks an Azure Data Engineer to join a fully remote role based in the United States. You will build and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Synapse Analytics, while modeling legacy SAP datasets and ensuring data quality.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of experience in data engineering, with hands-on SAP BW familiarity and strong SQL/Python skills to support data migration and analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of technical experience in data engineering or closely related development roles.
• Hands-on experience building and supporting pipelines in Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and data transformations.
• Familiarity with SAP BW concepts and data models.

Responsibilities

• Ingest data from legacy SAP platform into the Azure data lake using Azure Synapse.
• Ingest and model in-scope datasets to the target platform with metadata, lineage, and business rules.
• Perform basic data quality checks and troubleshoot issues; collaborate with senior engineers for root-cause analysis.
