Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure AI Solutions Architect/Engineer to lead architecture, development, and deployment of enterprise Generative AI and document intelligence solutions in a federal context.

You will configure Azure AI services, build prototypes and production solutions, and transfer knowledge to existing teams while ensuring secure, scalable AI implementations that respect access controls.

Qualifications

12+ years in enterprise software or data solutions.
Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain.
8+ years designing and implementing enterprise software, cloud, or data systems.
3+ years building Generative AI, LLM, or RAG apps.
Hands-on Azure AI experience including Foundry and AI services.
Experience with secure REST API and enterprise integrations.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture, design, and implementation of GenAI solutions on Azure.
Design with Azure Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and Document Intelligence.
Develop RAG over enterprise data and enable enterprise search capabilities.
Implement NLP QA, document summarization, and information extraction features.
Create secure integration patterns with existing apps and data stores.
Mentor architects and developers on Azure AI, prompt engineering, and responsible AI.
