Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cloud Computing, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud architecture solutions.
• Demonstrated experience leveraging core AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail.
• Experience designing security architecture: IAM policies, VPC configurations, encryption, compliance controls.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification (required at time of hire).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure AWS cloud architectures for the IT Call Center program.
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to gather requirements and translate them into designs.
• Develop AWS architecture documentation and diagrams.
• Evaluate and implement AWS services for performance, reliability, cost efficiency.
• Design and implement security architectures in line with federal requirements (FedRAMP/NIST).
• Support governance, monitoring, and optimization of AWS services (Connect, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, VPC, IAM, Lex).
• Lead DR/BCP planning, backup and restore procedures, and testing.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and IaC using CloudFormation/CDK or Terraform.
• Provide guidance on best practices and government security clearance requirements.
