Job summary

Signet Jewelers is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Enterprise Services Integration team. This remote role focuses on AWS cloud development and enterprise integration, contributing to coding, testing, and support of AWS-based integrations.

The candidate will work with Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch, collaborating with senior engineers, architects, and product teams to deliver reliable integration solutions.

Qualifications

• Foundational programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Basic understanding of APIs, testing, and Git.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn new technologies with guidance and collaborate with others.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of AWS-based applications and integrations.
• Write and modify code using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar technologies.
• Work with senior engineers on the design and implementation of integration solutions.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and automated testing of AWS-based integrations.
• Develop and maintain test scripts and automated tests for APIs, data flows, and event-driven integrations.
• Validate integration behavior, including payloads, error handling, logging, monitoring, and expected outcomes.
• T troubleshoot defects and verify fixes with root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with architects, product teams, and other technology groups.
