Everforth Apex Systems is seeking an AWS Senior Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions on-site in Torrance, CA. The role emphasizes building robust data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and optimizing performance on AWS.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience with AWS tools (Glue, EMR, Airflow, Redshift) and strong programming skills in Python/Java/Scala, plus a background in ETL and data warehousing.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in data engineering, ETL, and data warehousing.
• 3+ years AWS experience including S3, EMR, Glue, Athena, Redshift, RDS, Spectrum, Airflow.
• 2+ years CI/CD tooling experience.
• 3+ years programming in Python/Java/Scala.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data integration workflows using AWS Glue/EMR, Airflow, Lambda, and Redshift.
• Ensure data is extracted, transformed, and loaded with quality checks and monitoring.
• Improve performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS-based pipelines; optimize Redshift.
• Translate business requirements into technical specs and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to meet data needs.
• Document all data integration processes and technical specifications.
