Job summary

Noblis is seeking a DevSecOps Cloud Engineer in the Philadelphia area to design and develop cloud-based HM&E solutions for U.S. Navy programs at the Philadelphia Navy Yard.

The role emphasizes DevSecOps pipelines, system integration, and secure cloud architectures using AWS services. Responsibilities include SME support for DevSecOps, designing cloud environments, managing AWS services, creating CI/CD pipelines, and documenting technical analyses and procedures for Navy systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, or math.
• Minimum of 3 years in computer design, software development, or systems engineering.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and DevSecOps tools.
• Scripting or software development relevant to DevSecOps automation.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and design processes.
• Additional CI/CD tools like Packer, SonarQube, Eclipse CHE, Rockwell/Siemens tooling.
• Kubernetes network concepts including Envoy/Istio.
• US citizen with ability to obtain DoD clearance and Security+.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME for DevSecOps and interfacing systems to develop designs.
• Design cloud solutions for HM&E development on AWS and guide cloud adoption.
• Manage core AWS services: EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch.
• Create and enhance CI/CD pipelines with Ansible, Podman, and Docker.
• Use Git/GitLab for source control and configuration management.
• Configure networking switches/routers (Cisco NX-OS, IOS) as needed.
• Develop unit tests and test plans; execute verification procedures.
• Record issues in Jira; troubleshoot and provide fixes remotely and onsite.
• Create installation SOPs and assist CM processes; document analyses.
