Addison Group is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to help administer our client's AWS infrastructure, support CI/CD delivery pipelines, and maintain up-to-date systems documentation. This role plays a key part in keeping the cloud environment secure, reliable, and running smoothly.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a small, collaborative team environment, someone hands-on, adaptable, and genuinely willing to pitch in across a variety of tasks rather than staying narrowly within one lane.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in systems administration, cloud, or DevOps.
• Hands-on AWS or Azure production workloads.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and automation practices.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with defined objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure using IaC.
• Administer core AWS services and optimize cloud resources.
• Integrate security controls and perform vulnerability scanning in pipelines.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Document architectures, pipelines, and runbooks; support IT operations.
• Collaborate with development and IT operations teams; participate in on-call.
