Job summary

Gotham Technology Group is seeking a hands-on AWS engineer to build, deploy, and support serverless APIs and cloud infrastructure. AWS Lambda is central, with APIs built via AWS SAM and CloudFormation, and deployments handled through GitHub Actions.

You'll diagnose production issues across application and AWS infrastructure, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and work with Terraform stacks. Preference for strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with ECS for containerized workloads.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS experience in a production environment.
• Proficient with AWS Lambda and building Lambda-based apps.
• Experience with AWS SAM and CloudFormation for API deployment.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and middleware patterns.
• Experience reading/updating Terraform configurations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across app and AWS infra under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain serverless applications and APIs using AWS Lambda.
• Develop and deploy APIs using AWS SAM and CloudFormation.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions.
• Work within existing Terraform stacks to manage infrastructure.
• Design and support REST APIs and middleware integrations.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues across app and infra.
• Support containerized workloads on ECS as needed.
