Job summary

Princeton IT Services, Inc is seeking an experienced AWS Backend Engineer (Java/Go) in Malvern, PA to design, build, and support scalable cloud applications.

You will develop backend services with Java and Go, leverage AWS Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, SQS, Glue, and databases like DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, S3, and Athena, and collaborate with cloud, DevOps, and application teams to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience building backend services in Java and Go.
• Hands-on with AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions).
• Proficiency with data services (DynamoDB, S3, PostgreSQL) and analytics (Athena).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Go.
• Build serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
• Develop event-driven workflows using EventBridge and Step Functions.
• Implement asynchronous processing using SQS.
• Develop and support data integration using AWS Glue.
• Work with DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, S3, and Athena for storage and analytics.
• Collaborate with cloud, DevOps, and application teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
