Qualifications

• U.S. Government clearance eligible; U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years in cloud infra roles; 5+ years in AWS.
• Hands-on AWS design: VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, KMS.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, PowerShell; strong Python development.
• 3+ years writing AWS policies as code using AWS CLI.
• Familiar with GuardDuty, Security Hub, Inspector.
• Knowledge of FedRAMP Moderate and NIST 800-53/800-171 controls.
• IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud-native serverless and containers; on-site in secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead AWS cloud implementation and deployment using IaC tools.
• Develop automation pipelines to improve deployment reliability.
• Design and optimize cloud-native apps with serverless and containers.
• Configure logging, monitoring, and SRE practices for high availability.
• Create design docs, diagrams, and hand‑over guides for cloud envs.
• Manage cloud security, IAM, VPCs, and FedRAMP compliance.
• Automate tasks with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security and ops goals.
• Respond to incidents and maintain system health via logs/metrics.
