Job summary

Enlyte is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to lead post-migration modernization in a fully remote role across the United States. You will design scalable cloud-native architectures, drive AI/ML integration, and establish governance frameworks aligned with cloud best practices.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in cloud architecture or senior engineering, 4+ years on AWS, hands-on IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK), and strong communication skills to influence cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, software engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in cloud architecture or senior engineering; 4+ years AWS.
• Deep expertise in AWS compute, networking, storage, data, and security.
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification (or equivalent).
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK; CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML services and enterprise integration.
• Strong governance, FinOps and security frameworks.
• Excellent communication; able to translate complex concepts to executives.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve cloud-native architectures leveraging AWS services to modernize legacy workloads.
• Define and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and governance best practices.
• Identify and implement AI/ML opportunities using AWS services to improve performance and automation.
• Guide engineering teams on cloud patterns; conduct architecture reviews and mentorship.
• Align cross-functional stakeholders around a unified cloud strategy and roadmap.
• Drive cost optimization, security posture, and operational excellence across AWS.
• Evaluate emerging AWS services and industry trends; recommend adoption where value is clear.
