Job summary

TEK-Engineers is seeking a senior Cloud Architect to lead AWS-based modernization initiatives from Dallas. You will define roadmaps, drive consensus, and prototype viable paths to modernizing applications on AWS.

You will influence teams to adopt new architectural approaches, improve performance, and reduce costs while communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaboration with a broad group of stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience architecting AWS cloud solutions and application migration to AWS.
• 8+ years of experience with all phases of systems development lifecycle.
• 5+ years of experience with IT infrastructure, Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Digital Platforms.
• 3+ years of experience building DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in Data Architecture, integration and migration.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop future-state roadmaps and drive consensus for modernizing applications to AWS.
• Suggest ideas to improve system performance and reduce costs.
• Influence teams to adopt new technical approaches and solutions.
• Communicate technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Read and comprehend software requirements and assist with estimating efforts.
