Job summary

Enlyte seeks an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to lead post-migration modernization, designing scalable, resilient cloud-native architectures on AWS, and driving AI/ML integration with governance.

This full-time remote role supports cross-functional teams across the U.S., focusing on cost optimization, security posture, and enterprise-scale delivery within Well-Architected best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, SE, or related field.
• 8+ years in cloud architecture or senior engineering roles, with 4+ years focused on AWS.
• Deep expertise in AWS compute, networking, storage, data, and security services.
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification (or equivalent demonstrated experience).
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML services and how to integrate them into enterprise systems.
• Strong understanding of cloud governance, FinOps, and security frameworks.
• Proven ability to influence without authority — aligning teams around architectural decisions and standards.
• Excellent communication skills; able to translate complex technical concepts for executive and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve cloud-native architectures leveraging AWS services to modernize legacy workloads.
• Define and enforce architectural standards, design patterns, and governance best practices.
• Identify and implement AI/ML opportunities using AWS AI services to improve performance and automation.
• Guide engineering teams on cloud patterns, conduct architecture reviews, and mentor staff on AWS services.
• Align cross-functional stakeholders around a unified cloud strategy, governance model, and technology roadmap.
• Drive cost optimization, security posture, and operational excellence across the AWS environment.
• Evaluate emerging AWS services and industry trends; recommend adoption where business value is clear.
