Job summary

Hudson Manpower in Richmond, VA is seeking a hands-on AI and cloud engineer to deliver AWS-based AI platforms. You will implement AWS services such as Bedrock and SageMaker, build LangChain-based retrieval-augmented systems, and create cloud-native microservices with IaC and CI/CD pipelines.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of Python software engineering, experience with AWS and ML model deployment, and a strong background in RAG architectures.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of hands-on software engineering experience with Python.
• Experience with AWS Bedrock or SageMaker.
• Experience fine-tuning large language models or building datasets and deploying ML models to production.
• Experience with AWS Organizations and policy guardrails, including SCPs and AWS Config.
• Strong background implementing RAG architectures and LangChain.
• Proven IaC practices and experience building Terraform modules for AWS.
• Solid experience with Git-based version control, code reviews, and DevOps workflows.
• Track record of delivering production-ready software with integrated release pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on execution of AWS services including Lambda, Bedrock, SageMaker, Step Functions, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Develop LLM-based applications and Retrieval-Augmented Generation using LangChain.
• Build cloud-native microservices, APIs, and serverless functions for intelligent automation and real-time data processing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business goals into secure, scalable AI systems.
• Manage the software release lifecycle, overseeing CI/CD pipelines and Terraform IaC.
• Support the development and evolution of reusable platform components for AI/ML operations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for the team and internal customers.
• Demonstrate excellent communication in English.
