Job summary

Sunnyvale, CA based with remote option, Hudson Manpower seeks an experienced AWS AI Engineer to design, deploy, and operate AI and ML applications in the cloud, prioritizing retrieval-augmented generation, fine-tuning large language models, and AWS native microservices for enterprise production.

Responsibilities include hands-on work with AWS services, leading cloud adoption across infra and ML, and building scalable AI platforms with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 7 years of hands-on software engineering experience with a strong focus on Python.
• Proficient with AWS services, particularly Bedrock or SageMaker.
• Experience fine-tuning large language models or building datasets and deploying ML models to production.
• Background working with AWS Organizations and policy guardrails (SCP, AWS Config).
• Solid track record implementing RAG architectures and LangChain.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code best practices and building Terraform modules for AWS.
• Strong background in Git-based version control, code reviews, and DevOps workflows.
• Proven success delivering production-ready software with integrated release pipelines.

• Lead the implementation of AWS cloud services across infrastructure, ML, and AI platform components.
• Develop and scale LLM-based applications, incorporating Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with LangChain.
• Build cloud-native microservices, APIs, and serverless functions for intelligent automation and real-time data processing.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to translate business objectives into secure, scalable AI systems.
• Own the software release lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines, GitHub SDLC, and infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Contribute to the evolution of reusable platform components for AI and ML operations.
• Document technical work thoroughly for the team and internal customers.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication in English.
