Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Aviation Software Developer to design, develop, and deploy software for aviation applications from a home office. You will join a globally distributed engineering team working on projects that enhance safety, efficiency, and data analysis in aviation, with no geographic constraints.

The role requires a degree in computer science or equivalent, strong software development experience, and proficiency in C++, Java, or Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering.
• Proven experience in software development with a portfolio of projects.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, or Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration in a fully remote team.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and deploy robust software applications for aviation systems.
• Collaborate with domain experts to define software requirements and translate them into specifications.
• Develop and maintain APIs, data processing pipelines, and user interfaces for aviation software.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects and performance issues across platforms.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development tools and processes.
