Job summary

HighRes Biosolutions is seeking a remote Automation Support Engineer II located within the Salt Lake City, UT, Denver, CO or Austin, TX metro areas. You will be the primary contact for customers' robotics systems, handling case management for software and hardware and delivering proactive, professional service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years' experience in lab automation, robotics, or software-related roles.
  • Proficiency in C# and Python or other OO languages.
  • Strong software troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to work across diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for customers' robotics systems and manage cases for software/hardware.
  • Build strong customer relationships through proactive communication and technical acumen.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive issue resolution from diagnosis to completion.
  • Troubleshoot networking issues (TCP/IP, serial) and deploy code for integrating lab automation devices.
  • Perform software updates, configuration changes, and system upgrades with minimal disruption.
