Job summary

Peraton seeks an experienced Automation Program Manager to lead a large-scale IT modernization program for the FAA NAS BNATCS initiative. This role partners with executive leaders to manage delivery, workforce performance, and stakeholder engagement for a 100+ IT professional team in a regulated federal environment.

The ideal candidate combines strong operational discipline, financial acumen, and proven success delivering complex IT services in government programs.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active FAA Public Trust clearance.
• 16+ years of experience managing large federal IT programs with 100+ personnel.
• Experience managing and delivering federal IT programs with annual budgets > $100M.
• Proven ability to manage project scope, schedules, and budgets using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methods.
• Strong leadership across geographically dispersed, cross-functional programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across all operational and technical aspects of the workstream.
• Translate strategic program objectives into executable operational plans.
• Oversee end-to-end execution of NEEDS Package activities.
• Ensure delivery of contractual requirements within cost, schedule, quality, and performance objectives.
• Lead day-to-day operations for 100+ Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, System Software Testing, and Cloud professionals.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting in collaboration with Contracts and Finance.
