Job summary

Total Force Alliance, LLC seeks an Automated Testing QA Engineer – Journeyman to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web apps, APIs, and enterprise systems in a 100% remote role.

You'll work in Agile teams, integrate tests into CI/CD, validate security testing with DevSecOps, and support AWS GovCloud environments. Requires 5+ years QA experience and DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree and 5+ years of QA/testing experience.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification mandatory (Security+ CE or equivalent).
• Preferred: CSTE/ISTQB or similar automated testing certifications.
• Experience with web, API, and automated testing in AWS GovCloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web apps, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and performance testing against requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts on requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for rapid delivery.
• Identify, document, and track defects; support triage and resolution.
• Validate fixes through re-testing and regression testing activities.
• Support security testing with DevSecOps teams and vulnerability validation.
• Analyze test results and report system quality and readiness for release.
• Maintain testing standards and automation frameworks for repeatable QA processes.
