Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage to analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims in a nationwide telecommute role. The position focuses on assessing damage and guiding claims toward timely resolutions.

Key duties include reviewing estimates, negotiating settlements, pursuing subrogation, and maintaining strong client communication while meeting service expectations. Bachelor’s degree and state licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; must secure state adjusting licenses.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies.
• Ability to review Property Damage estimates and negotiate first/third party claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage forms.
• Excellent oral and written communication; PC literate with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and processes auto and general liability property damage claims.
• Assesses damage, makes payments, and ensures proper documentation and coding.
• Develops action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Maintains professional client relations and communicates claim actions to stakeholders.
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on all claims assigned.
