Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage to analyze and process low to mid-level auto claims. The role focuses on damage assessment, payments, documentation, and timely resolution while supporting quality programs and client communication.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), knowledge of personal and commercial lines, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred. State adjusting licenses as required.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review and assess Property Damage estimates and related expenses to negotiate claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage procedures preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
• Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office products.
• Analytical and interpretive skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to meet or exceed service expectations.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto property damage and lower level injury claims; assesses damage, makes payments, and codes files per policy.
• Develops action plans to meet contract deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies and pursues subrogation opportunities; handles salvage disposition.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and agent/broker as appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations.
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on assignments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Supports the organization's quality programs.
