Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a claims professional to analyze and process complex auto bodily injury and commercial transportation claims from a remote work location. You will review coverage, investigate liability, and determine damages while adhering to client requirements and service expectations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in claims management, strong communication and MS Office skills, and state adjusting licenses.

Qualifications

• Five years of claims management experience or equivalent combination required, with in-depth knowledge of auto policies and coverage.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication, including presentation skills; PC literate including Microsoft Office products; able to work in a team.
• State adjusting licenses must be secured and maintained as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Process complex auto, commercial, and personal line claims, ensuring proper documentation and coding.
• Manage litigation on litigated claims.
• Coordinate vendor management, including independent adjusters for investigations.
• Report large claims to excess carriers as appropriate.
• Develop and maintain action plans to meet state deadlines and drive timely resolution.
• Identify and pursue subrogation and risk transfer opportunities; dispose of salvage.
• Communicate claim actions with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned; support the organization's quality programs.
