Job summary

ATC is seeking an ADDM Abstractor to perform medical chart abstractions for children reported to the ADDM network. The role is remote and involves collaboration with the ADDM program staff to support education materials and program initiatives.

Candidates should have a public health-related bachelor’s degree, strong attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with REDCap/EMR is preferred and travel may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, early childhood, education, special education, or a closely related field.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Clinical abstraction experience preferred.
• Experience with database systems and web-based applications is preferred.
• Knowledge of developmental disorders preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Work remotely to complete medical chart abstractions for children reported to the ADDM network.
• Collaborate with ADDM program staff on initiatives, development, and funding opportunities.
• Participate actively on ADDM calls as required.
• Collaborate with IDOH and other programs on large-scale projects related to children with autism.
• Assist in developing education materials and webpage content.
• Update and maintain hospital contact lists for medical records access.
• Maintain standard internal ADDM project documents.
• Triage public concerns and forward to appropriate staff member.
