Qualifications

• Previous experience in Australian commercial loan processing, commercial credit analysis, or commercial mortgage broking support.
• Strong understanding of Australian commercial lending processes, credit policies, and loan documentation.
• Experience reviewing business financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents.
• Knowledge of commercial lending structures, including commercial property loans and refinancing.
• Understanding of borrower financial assessment and serviceability requirements.
• Experience managing multiple loan applications and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end commercial loan processing, from application preparation through to settlement.
• Review and assess borrower documentation, including financial statements, tax returns, bank statements, and business financials.
• Prepare credit proposals, loan submissions, and supporting documentation for commercial lending applications.
• Analyse borrower financial positions, income, liabilities, and repayment capacity.
• Conduct lender policy research and identify suitable commercial lending options.
• Assist with commercial property purchases, refinancing, business acquisitions, and other lending transactions.
• Liaise with brokers, lenders, solicitors, valuers, accountants, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor loan application progress, follow up on outstanding documents, and manage lender conditions.
• Ensure loan applications meet lender requirements and relevant compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to brokers on application progress.
• Coordinate settlement requirements and ensure all necessary documentation is completed within required timeframes.
