UMB Bank is seeking an Audit Specialist to support the annual audit of the financial reporting process for its alternative investment fund clients. The role involves using Excel and UMB accounting systems to prepare client financial statements.

This team is seasonal, with activity concentrated from January to June, and offers growth through learning audit concepts and collaborating with Fund Accounting.

Qualifications

• Two years in an undergraduate program in a business-related field.
• Strong communication and review skills with a desire to learn more in audit and accounting.
• Experience with financial data and auditing concepts is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Operate Excel and UMB accounting systems to pull in and summarize exports to use for client financial statements.
• Reconcile and clean up data for the preparation of audited financial statements.
• Partner with the Fund Accounting team and other peers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and client satisfaction.
