Overview

The Los Angeles and Torrance offices of Kaufman Dolowich, recognized by U.S. news in their list of “Best Companies to Work For - Law Firms,” is seeking an Employment Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of employment litigation experience. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide.

KD's Labor and Employment practice includes employment discrimination, workplace harassment, wage, and hour defense, as well as traditional labor law matters.

NOTE: We will consider any attorney with a California Bar license and relevant experience who resides elsewhere. This position would be remote with an occasional visit to the office as needed. Hourly or part-time work options available.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of litigation experience defending federal and state wage and hour cases, including collective and class actions.
  • Experience handling investigations before the U.S. Department of Labor, the California Department of Industrial Relations, the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, EEOC and other state and local human rights agencies.
  • Experience appearing before the National Labor Relations Board regarding matters related to union organizing, collective bargaining, unfair labor practices, union elections, and arbitrations.
  • Experience handling employment litigation in federal and state court.
  • JD from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice in California.

The total annual compensation range for this position is $135,000 - $200,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
