Qualifications

• Terminal or Master’s degree in Astrophysics.

• Full adherence to the evangelical mission and doctrine of Liberty University.
• Familiarity with collaborative learning techniques and student-centered instruction.

Responsibilities

• Teach material from the approved curriculum per assigned schedule to ensure student satisfaction.
• Assist students in achieving objectives and learning outcomes.
• Provide regular and timely feedback to students.
• Participate in retention initiatives by maintaining contact with students and assisting absent students.
• Advise students on academics, attendance, and behavior.
• Motivate students to participate actively in the educational process.
• Maintain and report student grades and attendance per university policies.
• Maintain standards regarding course activity, emails, grading, and communication with Instructional Mentor and students.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
