Job summary

Wellity Health, a fully remote therapy practice based in California, is hiring full-time Associate Therapists. You will provide 1:1 therapy to diverse clients, handle a structured caseload of up to 32 weekly sessions, and participate in supervision and team consultations.

Strong emphasis on documentation, assessments, and collaboration with psychiatry and care teams. The role requires an active CA associate license, a CSWE-accredited master’s degree, and experience with CBT/DBT; EMDR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in California.
• Active Associate license in California (AMFT, APCC, or ACSW).
• Master’s degree in Social Work, MFT, or Counseling (CSWE-accredited for Social Work).
• Experience with CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care; EMDR or clinical niche preferred.
• Ability to sit with clients in emotionally intense sessions with care and clarity.
• Access to a quiet, confidential workspace with stable internet.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 therapy for children, adolescents, and adults.
• Manage a full caseload with 32–33 clients per week and 5–7 appointments per day.
• Conduct thorough assessments for recently discharged individuals up to 50% of caseload.
• Collaborate with psychiatry providers and broader care teams.
• Create and manage treatment plans and clinical documentation.
• Participate in weekly supervision and team consultations, including two units of supervision.
• Maintain timely documentation in the EHR system; ensure 24-hour follow-up and 48-hour initial appointment turnarounds.
