Job summary

Cambia Health is seeking an Associate Medical Director (Part Time) to work remotely within OR, WA, ID, or UT. The role involves applying medical expertise to ensure quality, cost-effective care and supporting medical policies and clinical programs.

As a physician reviewer, you will collaborate with clinical staff on case reviews, provide peer-to-peer consultations, and contribute to multidisciplinary project teams. A multi-state license and board certification are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed physician with an MD or DO degree.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in one or more states or territories of the United States, with one of these licenses in our four-state area (OR, WA, ID, UT).
• Board Certification required. Qualification by training and experience to render clinical opinions about medical conditions, procedures and treatments under review.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical consulting to staff on member cases to ensure quality, cost-effective care.
• Conduct high-quality member case reviews and peer-to-peer consultations with providers.
• Communicate with internal/external stakeholders to promote understanding of care management and quality programs.
• Participate on teams to provide clinical input on medical policy reviews and development.
