Job summary

Cambia Health is seeking an Associate Medical Director (Part Time) to work remotely within OR, WA, ID, or UT. The role focuses on clinical consultation, policy development, and peer-to-peer support to ensure high-quality and cost-effective care for members.

Ideal candidates hold an MD or DO with board certification and at least 3 years of clinical experience. Licensure in the four-state area is required; remote collaboration and AI-enabled decision tools are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Provides clinical consulting to staff on specific member cases, to ensure members receive quality, cost effective care, or on broader clinical trends.
• May conduct high-quality member case reviews and peer-to-peer consultations with providers.
• Communicates with a variety of internal or external stakeholders to promote understanding of care management, utilization management and quality programs.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated competency working with hospitals, provider groups, or integrated delivery systems to effectively manage patient care to improve outcomes.
• Passion for population health and healthcare transformation.
• Strong communication, influencing and facilitation skills with internal staff and external stakeholders.
