Job summary

Local Hero seeks an Associate Media Director to lead and grow our media team, shaping integrated media plans for major brands. The role reports to the President/COO within Operations and offers remote work with hybrid options for those near Boulder, CO.

We’re looking for sharp strategic leaders with 5+ years in media planning/buying and 1–2 years of people management. Candidates comfortable with offshore teams and GTM/ad servers will excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in media planning, buying and reporting.
• Minimum 1–2 years managerial experience.
• Experience with offshore and distributed teams.
• 1–2 years attribution/tracking experience (GTM or ad servers).
• Degree in related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle and execution of core digital media functions across an on/offshore team.
• Act as player-coach: guide priorities while hands-on with media buys, presentations and QA.
• Serve as internal expert across digital media channels and platforms.
• Develop and refine digital media planning and buying strategies for clients.
• Drive innovation by adopting new platforms and AI-enabled processes.
• Collaborate with Creative and Campaign Ops for smooth handoffs.
• Directly manage tagging, tracking, attribution and data quality.
