American Cancer Society is seeking an Associate Director to serve as a strategic connector for advancing our mission through high-impact partnerships across the cancer care continuum. The role engages with payors, government agencies, and state associations to influence policy and provider practices while driving KPIs and pillar priorities.

This is a fully remote position with the candidate located in Anchorage, AK.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in public health, health administration, healthcare, nonprofit management, or related field.
Over five years of progressive experience in healthcare-related management and account oversight; strong executive relationship development.

Responsibilities

Build and manage high-impact relationships with state-level partners—health plans, Medicaid agencies, health departments, and cancer coalitions.
Align ACS pillar priorities through strategic account management, partner engagement, and cross-sector collaboration.
Convene and engage diverse stakeholders to implement evidence-based strategies, influence policy, and improve access and outcomes.
Provide technical assistance and share resources to support evidence-based interventions and best practices.
Cultivate and support health care and community champions to drive policies and improve care access and outcomes.
