Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Client Engagement to oversee the engagement manager team and drive operational efficiency. The role focuses on planning, organization, and execution across projects, with direct management of 3-5 EM team members.

The position requires extensive PM/ops experience, people management, and familiarity with AI tools to enhance project delivery. MBA preferred, with up to 25% travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in project management/operations.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as people manager
• Experience using approved AI tools and large language models (LLMs) to improve project management efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the engagement manager (EM) team; performance mgmt and coaching.
• Use approved AI tools to support coaching conversations and translate insights into guidance.
• Define and revise operating policies and guidelines for Learning Solutions.
• Monitor revenue targets and resource utilization to maximize profits.
• Manage budget and utilization across projects; ensure on-time delivery within scope.
