Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• ASA or FSA designation with MAAA required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting complex healthcare cost and utilization trends.
• Experience working with healthcare claims data and large data sets.
• Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to leadership audiences through presentations and storytelling.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for improving healthcare outcomes and organizational performance through data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of actuarial and analytical associates for Medicaid trend analytics and advisory support.
• Direct recurring trend review processes for timely, high-quality analyses and actionable recommendations.
• Translate analyses into narratives for directors, AVP, VP, and executives.
• Partner with Finance, Clinical, Network, Operations, and Market Leadership to explore trends and cost drivers.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Oversee executive-ready reporting and trend materials summarizing drivers and actions.
• Manage intake and prioritization of ad hoc analytical requests.
• Ensure analyses are rigorous with sound methodologies and clear assumptions.
• Collaborate to connect analytical findings to business outcomes and priorities.
