Job summary

Gottlieb Law seeks two associate attorneys to join its real estate and civil litigation practice. The role involves managing a caseload, drafting pleadings and motions, taking depositions, and appearing at hearings, with a fully remote arrangement. Strong candidates have at least two years of civil litigation experience and Arizona bar admission.

Remote work is supported, with periodic in-person appearances as required. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Active membership in the State Bar of Arizona.
• At least two years of civil litigation experience.
• Real estate or business litigation experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, advocacy, and client-communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution, with appropriate support and collaboration.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide practical, responsive guidance.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, settlement documents, and other substantive work product.
• Take and defend depositions and appear at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with the firm's attorneys and professional staff on strategy, deadlines, and client service.
