Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking an Associate Professional Application Designer for a fully remote role within the United States. You will design, develop, test, and document applications software across server, client, and web components, working to ensure architectural integrity and client ROI.

The role requires advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Power Query, SQL, and Python, plus knowledge of software development methodologies.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Power Query, SQL, and Python; web service development experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic software design, development and implementation methodologies.
• Basic data analysis and software testing skills to create requirements and test modifications and enhancements.
• Team player with strong written and oral communication skills with clients and leaders.
• Collaborative, able to work effectively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Help design, develop, install, test and document applications software — including server, client and web components
• Contribute to design, documentation and delivery of technical architecture solution components
• Bridge between application architects and developers to ensure design requirements and ROI for clients
• Define and develop project requirements, functional specs and application designs using standard development methodologies
• Develop technical documentation and test plans, support integration and deployment
• Be part of a team of software developers advancing Gainwell and client objectives
