You will supervise staff, coordinate assessments, and collaborate across leaders, teachers, and families to deliver high-quality student-centered services.

This remote Texas-based role requires a Master’s in SPED, 3 years of teaching, and travel up to 20% for site coordination.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in special education and 3+ years of teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and staff development skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of TEALS special education programs and ensure compliance.
• Develop and communicate SPED policies and procedures with school leadership.
• Train staff on timelines, requirements, and department expectations.
• Oversee IEPs, progress monitoring, and related documentation.
• Collaborate with service providers to ensure proper service delivery.
• Coordinate STAAR Alternate 2 assessment planning and administration.
• Supervise staff and foster collaboration among school leaders, teachers, and families.
