Job summary

University of Dayton seeks an innovative Assistant Director of Recruitment & Admission to lead recruitment efforts within assigned territories, including Puerto Rico, Florida, and Texas. This full-time role requires Spanish language proficiency to build strong relationships with diverse high school students, parents, counselors, and community organizations.

The position supports admission, financial aid, and enrollment processes and may be remote/hybrid for candidates outside the Dayton area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university.
• Three years of progressive administrative/professional experience in higher education, high school counseling, or related roles.
• Ability to travel in Fall and Spring for up to 8 weeks, including Puerto Rico.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of presenting to audiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned recruitment territories and build relationships with prospective students and families.
• Advise students and families through admission, financial aid, and enrollment processes via presentations, appointments, calls, and email.
• Collaborate with Enrollment Management and university departments to develop recruitment and enrollment strategies.
• Supervise student employees supporting recruitment efforts as needed.
• Represent the University of Dayton at a high level and support inclusive excellence.
