Job summary

SingerLewak in the Los Angeles area seeks a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support the Account Managers in the Business Management department. The role handles day-to-day bookkeeping for clients, including A/P, A/R, and check runs, with AgilLink experience a plus.

This position can be performed in office, hybrid or remotely; must be based in California. Overtime may apply December through April; valid driver’s license required; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• One plus years of bookkeeping experience preferred.
• One plus years of experience in AgilLink and/or QuickBooks preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Input information for accounts payable and accounts receivable; assist in preparing check runs using AgilLink.
• Prepare journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and trace discrepancies.
• General communication with vendors.
• Assist with clients’ payroll.
• Assist with Month-end and Quarter-end duties, including compilation of financials, sales tax and payroll tax returns.
• Assist in the preparation of 1099s and W-2s for clients.
• Assist Account Manager with special projects.
