Job summary

Computer World Services Corp. seeks an Asset / Equipment Specialist to support GFP tracking and asset lifecycle for the USMEPCOM ENLIST program. Under the Asset Manager, you will maintain asset records, assist with inventories, and prepare disposition packages.

The role requires an Associate degree or relevant experience, 3+ years in IT asset management, proficiency with MS Office and asset-management tools, and strong documentation skills. Remote work with occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or relevant experience in asset management.
• Minimum 3 years in IT asset management, equipment accountability, inventory control, logistics, property administration, or management analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain and reconcile accurate asset records and to support physical inventories, audits, and discrepancy resolution.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with asset custodians, technical teams, and Government stakeholders across remote, geographically dispersed teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Asset Manager, Hand Receipt Holders, and the USMEPCOM PBO with equipment accountability activities.
• Maintain accurate asset records (serial numbers, asset identifiers, descriptions, locations, custodians, condition, and disposition status).
• Assist with physical inventories and audits; document discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Reconcile asset records against shipping, receiving, maintenance, configuration, and disposition documentation.
• Prepare data tables, findings, and status information for Asset Audit Reports and Monthly Status Reports inputs.
• Track maintenance agreements, warranties, licenses, and support coverage, including renewals and expirations.
• Prepare equipment disposition packages in accordance with PBO guidance for obsolete, excess, or surplus GFP.
• Maintain asset-management logs, trackers, SOPs, and templates; support refreshes and site moves.
• Protect sensitive equipment records and handle Government information per security/records-management requirements.
