Job summary

Millwood Hospital in Arlington, TX, part of Universal Health Services, seeks an Assessment Coordinator (RN/Licensed Therapist) to support referrals, information requests, and discharge planning under the Director of Assessment Referral. The HBIPS abstraction and admissions coordination are part of the role.

The position is remote with TX licensure required; hours are Mon–Fri, 11 a.m.–7:30 p.m., with potential on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Education: RN or Master's in a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years in intake assessment in acute psychiatric settings.
• Licensure: Texas license as a mental health professional (RN, LMSW, LCSW, LPC, or LPC-I).
• Additional requirements: DSM-IV knowledge, understanding of Addiction and Recovery field; may require flexible schedule and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Inquiry calls documented per Intake policies.
• Patients assessed and stabilized prior to leaving hospital or admission arrangements.
• On-call doctor notified and assisted with patient interview.
• Admission paperwork completed per hospital policy.
